The name of the perfume…

…and the role it plays in me choosing it.

Strangely enough, one of my main criteria in choosing a perfume it’s the name. In my opinion, the name is as important as the fragrance is. Depending on my mood, the name of the perfume can lift my spirit, enhance my confidence or it relaxes me.

If you chose to read a book by it’s title, I think it is fair to choose what perfume to wear by it’s name. I will give you some examples of what I mean.

Let’s say I have a long day at work ahead and need all the support to get through it, I would wear: Olympea from Paco Rabanne, because it would remind me of the strength of gods.

If I would to go on a first date, with the man of my dreams, than Fuckin’ Fabulous from Tom Ford is the one.

If I plan a romantic night with my man, than Putain des Palaces from Etat Libre d’Orange would spice up my mood instantly.

If I would have a job interview, than Idole from Lancome would be my choice, because I would want my future employees to see me as their idole :).

For a boost of confidence, in lonely times, Kilian’s I don’t need a prince by my side to be a princess is the perfect motto.

And, also, being sarcastic and cynical, I have days when I love to wear I am Trash from Etat Libre d’Orange.

I could give you so many more examples, but I think you get the idea and you will start considering the name when choosing a perfume.
