Silhouette in Bloom

As I mentioned in a previous post, this spring, during the lockdown, I have discovered Christian Siriano’s line of fragrances, from the ones available on www.parfimo.ro, I have chosen two, Midnight Silhouette and Silhouette in Bloom, both blind buys.

First of all, I have to say about this one too, that I love the bottle. This one has a transparent pink glass bottle, shaped like the iconic Siriano tulle dresses.

The fragrance is a nice spring-summer floral, medium lasting, not overwhelming, not nauseating, not impressive, but definitely not bad at all.

It is a nice aroma, very easy to wear, especially for young girls or women that are not into complex or strange scented fragrances. It is a linear fragrance, with flowers all the way, even if the base notes have some sweet-oriental elements.

The fragrance opens with a hint of pink pepper layered on pear leaf and italian mandarin. Quickly, the base notes of roses, jasmin and jasmin sambac appear, with the rose a bit stronger than the jasmin. As I said, base notes are musk, amber, amberrete, siam benzoin and tonka beans, but this notes are very discreet. From top to base notes, the italian mandarin give a nice freshness to the flower bouquet, making the overall effect perfect for warm sunny days.

The aroma is actually closer to a shower gel or a body lotion than a fragrance, which makes it perfect for outdoor activities or summer seaside walks. It is not a complex fragrance, most surely not a signature one, but the price quality report is very good. It also would make a great present for a friend not so passionate of fragrance.

All in all, if you want a normal, simple, every day wear fragrance, that Silhouette in Bloom is a great option.
